David's Bridal-
"C"
I give David's a 'C' and that's being generous. David's Bridal is not an expensive dress shop, but they are a house hold name and should know how to treat customers a little better.  Shopping for a dress at David's is a no nonsense and no frills experience. You get in get out and pay for your dress. If you're looking to have the champagne while you shop experience, go elsewhere. Your attendant is usually not only helping you but helping 3 other girls as well (yes, even with an appointment) so I suggest looking online and on their catalog before you go and select which dresses you want to see.  I went to the store in Coral Gables and had a slight issue with my dress. I tried my dress on in a size 12 (I'm a street size 2) so I had an idea of what the dress would look like in my size. When it came to order the dress instead of taking my measurements the girl asks me what size I normally wear so I tell her "2" so that was the size she ordered. Fast forward two month's later when I receive my dress, I try it on and the size "2" is so tight I can't sit down in it. I complain to the manager and explain the situation and she agrees to exchange my dress to a size "4". She also informs me that they've been having problems with that same girl for doing the same thing to other brides. Moral of the story is Bridal gowns sometimes don't fit true to a "street size" so get fitting, and don't order your dress from someone who does not measure you. All in all David's Bridal was not a bad experience. I received my dress (in the right size) three months earlier than promised, and got my dress on sale for $800 (with matching veil) down from $1,000. I'm also thankful that the manger exchanged my dress for the right size.

David's Bridal Alterations- "F" I did not get to use their alterations (Thank God) but I'm still giving them an "F" for my experience with them while trying to get my dress altered. For one they refuse to give you any attention unless your wedding is at least two months away. Two, when I explained to the alteration's lady that I wanted to created a deeper 'V' with my sweetheart neckline because the neckline felt like it was up to my neck the woman looked at me like I was crazy and told me that they would not do that, I would ruin the dress, no one does that, it look's "fine", ect ect ect. I was upset because it's my dress and I'm paying good money to have it altered so I wasn't asking her for her opinion or whether or not the dress looked "fine" to her. Luckily, the woman I did take my dress to was a true professional and I didn't even need to mention how much I hated the high neckline before she herself made a comment about how that's the fist thing we need to fix.

House&Paper- A+ I used House&Paper in South Miami to purchase my gold pocket folds and backing for my STD's. I was super happy with how fast my special order arrived. It hurts to think about how much I paid for pocket folds and backing but seriously, the color is amazing and I'm sure that I could not have found a more perfect color by ordering online. I wish they were a little cheaper but oh well, what's done is done and in this department I definitely SPLURGED!

Papeteriestore.com- A+ I used papteriestore.com for both my invitations and my save the dates and have nothing but nice things to say about them. The store is awesome, the girls are awesome. They really work with you proof after proof after proof until you're 100% happy with their design. They respond to emails, phone calls and best of all...they ship on time! They were even kind enough to mail me my envelopes first via priority mail while we were still working on my invites so that I could send them to the calligrapher because they knew I was super pressed on time. I'm very happy I used papteriestore.com for both my invites and my save the dates, the design came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier with my choice of paper.

Calligraphy By Jennifer- "D" First let me say that Jennifer's calligraphy is beautiful! My envelopes turned out awesome. Why the "D" and not an A+? Well for two reasons. When I had spoke to Jennifer when had agreed on me mailing out my envelopes to her June 5th and receiving them back from her July 2nd. However, because my invites took longer to print then expected I had to mail them out to her a lot later. While waiting for my invites to be ready I was in constant contact with Jennifer, I let her know I'd be mailing them out late and she said it was not a problem. Finally when I did mail them out to her some time around June 20th I was told (when she already had by envelopes NOT before I mailed them out) that she would be sending me my envelopes July 20-something. I told her unfortunately that would be to late for me because I have people RSVP-ing by August 4th and need them earlier. She then told me that she could complete the job at the earliest July 13th with a $100 rush fee. I told her that I was not going to pay that no way no how because that's more than what my envelopes cost to get calligraphy. She then told me that well there's no way she can do them before hand without a rush fee, so I said ok, thanks just mail me my envelopes and I will do them else where. She didn't like that and informed me that because I had a contract with her I could not get my money back (I had already paid in full) Well rule number #1 of contracts, if I contract has to be modified (even slightly) you need a new one drawn up and the old one can be voided. I told Jennifer this because she insisted that we still had a contract and that it was still valid. So I said ok then, honor the July 1st delivery date. That being said it was a lot of back and forth and a huge headache not knowing when I was getting my envelopes and even if she was going to do a good job. Finally, she agreed to mail them out to be before the 8th of July. I received an email from her the 3rd letting me know that they were done and ready to be mailed but that she needed an extra $5 but some envelopes had more than four lines. Rather than argue because when I hired her I specifically asked if she charges by the envelope or line (to which she answered number of lines does not matter) I paid the $5 so that I could finally receive my envelopes. All in all she does a beautiful job and I can not complain about the quality of her work however in hindsight, for $3.00 an envelope I probably could have hired someone locally to do just as nice of a job and I would probably get my envelopes back within a few days. I would also probably be dealing with a professional. I definitely did not like the fact that she starts working on things and only when she's done does she tell you it will come out more expensive. What would have happened if I refused to pay more? Half of the time I felt like my envelopes were being hijacked. The stress was definitely not worth it.

Etsy Vendor Brendasbridalveilsandmore- A++ I used Brenda's Bridal Veils and more for my hair flower. I have nothing but great things to say about her shop. My hair flower was exactly how I wanted, and arrived really really fast. She's also very easy to communicate with and even called me to double check my order before she mailed it out. She's awsome. She sells not only beautiful hair flowers but birdcage veils that are to die for!

Etsy Vendor RomancingJuliet
- A++ I used romancingjuliet for my ring pillow and once again etsy did not let me down. My ring pillow is gorgeous. (A little smaller than I had pictured) but gorgeous. Super fast shipping as well. She also had buy one get one half off offers.

White Aisle.com- I used thewhiteaisle.com for my Menu's
